October Christmas Stamp-A-Stack

The first of this year's Christmas Stamp-A-Stacks (SASs) will be held in October.  I am offering the same workshop on two different days.  The dates for this SAS are Wednesday 16 October and Saturday 19 October from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm on both days.  The same cards will be made at both sessions.

At these workshops, you will make 8 cards (4 of each variety) with matching envelopes.  Cost for the SAS is $20.00 (cash) which includes all materials and afternoon tea.

Back by Popular Demand

Each year I get asked about these two cards which we first made 2 or 3 years ago so I have decided to offer these cards as a Stamp-A-Stack (SAS) on Saturday 27 October from 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm.

Both cards use the largest tree in the Lovely As A Tree stamp set.  The first card uses Night of Navy card stock and Craft White Ink.  The second card is a combination of the new colour, Midnight Muse and Basic Black.  Both cards are sparkled up with Dazzling Diamonds so you can expect to go home sparkling with glitter.

Cost for the workshop will be $20.00 which will include all materials to make 4 of each of the cards with matching envelopes and afternoon tea.

September Stamp-A-Stack

September sees the start of my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack (SAS) series.  Over the next three months I will run a series of workshops where you will be able to make 8 Christmas cards on each occasion.  In December I will be offering a SAS with a difference where we will be making Christmas gift tags.

The first of these SASs will be held on Saturday 8 September starting and 2.00 pm.  We will be making 8 cards (2 cards of each variety) using stamp sets that are continuing on in the new 2012-2013 catalogue (available as of 1 September 2012).

The first card uses the ornament image and matching ornament punch from the Tags til Christmas set and the second card uses images from the Merry and Type stamp set.

The cost of this SAS will be $20.00 which covers materials for 8 cards with matching envelopes and afternoon tea.

Now that I have returned from our overseas adventure I am ready to start classes again.

Sunny Fun - March Stamp-A-Stack

Today I have had time to make some cards for our Stamp-A-Stack in March.  These cards use the stamp set Sunny Fun and I thought they would be great for girls. 

I have used various colours including Rich Razzleberry, Marina Mist and Tangarine Tango.  The sentiment comes from the Hostess set, Happiest Birthday Wishes.

Need for Speed - what a great stamp set

Just thought I would share with you a set of cards I made yesterday.  They use the stamp set Need For Speed.  I CASed these cards from a fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Sherri Freese although I had to adapt my cards as I didn't have all the stamp set she had used. 

I initially thought this was a great new stamp set for blokes but having made the red card with the sports car I realise it is not just limited to the men in our world.  Memories of a little red car I once owned came to mind.

December Stamp-A-Stack

Our December Stamp-A-Stack (SAS) will be held on Saturday 10 December from 2.00pm - 5.00pm.

This will be the last opportunity to add to your Christmas Card collection.  We will be making four cards using the ornament stamp from the new stamp set "Merry and Type".  These are quite sparkly with lots of Dazzling Diamonds added to them.

The second set of four cards are in a patchwork design using DS paper.

The cost of the SAS is $20.00 which includes all the resources needed to make 8 cards with matching envelopes and afternoon tea.

November Stamp-A-Stack

Our November Stamp-A-Stack (SAS) will be held on Saturday 19 November from 2.00pm - 5.00pm.

This SAS will continue in a Christmas theme with two more cards on offer.  The first is back by popular demand and is the sparkly Lovely As A Tree (LAAT) card.  The second card uses Designer Series Paper and is in a patchwork style.

You will make four of each of these cards.  Cost of the SAS is $20.00 which includes resources to make 8 cards with matching envelopes and afternoon tea.

October Stamp-A-Stack

The first of the Christmas Stamp-A-Stacks will be held on October 29 from 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm.

We will be making eight Christmas cards with matching envelopes.  Our first two cards in the Christmas Stamp-A-Stacks will use a combination of old favourites and a new stamp set that has just come out in the 2011-2012 Catalogue.

The first card uses a subtle colour tone, Crumb Cake and the ever popular Dasher stamp.  It also features some embossing using the Big Shot and the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.

The second card uses the every popular colour, Old Olive and the flourish from the stamp set Baroque Motif.  It also uses an ornament stamp from the new set Tags til Christmas.  This has been cut out with the ornament punch and then sparkled up with some shimmer paint.

Come along and make four of each of the cards to add to your supply of cards to give to friends and family this Christmas.

AUGUST STAMP-A-STACK - Saturday 20 August

The August Stamp-A-Stack will be held on Saturday 20 August from 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm.  The theme this time is "Father's Day & Flowers."

We will be making 4 cards with a nautical theme suitable for Father's Day &/or male birthdays.  The other 4 cards will use the stamp set "Pocket Silhouettes" and take a flowery theme.

The cost of the SAS will be $20.00 and you will go home with 8 cards and matching envelopes.

JULY STAMP-A-STACK - HIS & HERS

Our Stamp-a-Stack (SAS) for July will be held on Saturday 9 July from 2.00 pm -5.00 pm. 

The theme for our 8 cards will be "His & Hers".  We will be making 4 cards for HIM using the Motorcycle stamp and 4 cards for HER using the Eat Chocolate stamp set.  Both the Motorcycle stamp and the Eat Chocolate stamp set are available until the end of July in the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue.

Stamp-A-Stack - Patchwork Cards - 21 May

The May Stamp-A-Stack (SAS) will be held on Saturday 21 May from 2.00pm - 5.00pm. We will be making 8 cards using a patchwork theme. I have Cased the idea for these cards from Marelle Taylor and found that although they are easy to make, the final product is extremely effective.  
 


I have used the Vintage Vogue stamp set and Designer Series paper to create the patchwork effect. We will be making the 4 different cards shown here and everyone will go home with 2 cards of each design. The cost for this SAS is $20.00.

May Stamp-A-Stack -- Using a patchwork theme

Stamp-A-Stack -- KISS (Keep It Simple Silly) cards

My next Stamp-A-Stack (SAS) class will be held on Saturday 16 April from 2.00pm - 5.00pm.  We will be making 8 cards based on the two designs shown here.  Each card is simple but elegant.  The aim of this SAS is to show how you can make great cards in a short time and with a limited amount of gear.  Please come along and join this session and take home 8 useful cards to add to your collection.  Cost of the SAS is $20.00.
