Stamp Club - Sunday 25 September

At our next Stamp Club gathering on Sunday 25 September we will be looking at the different ways of using Shimmer Paint.

We will make the 3 different cards shown here each using a different technique with the shimmer paint.

If you are interested in finding out more about Shimmer Paint and you are not in the Stamp Club, please contact me.  I am happy to run another workshop showing you how to use this fun product.

The Stamp Club workshop will be from 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm and will cost $10.00.

Catalogue Launch - Saturday 10 September

I just wanted to show you the cards we will be making at the 2011-2012 Catalogue Launch to be held on Saturday 10 September 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm.

The first card is made using the stamp set "Creative Elements".  It also uses the new Lace Ribbon Border punch.  I have used Peach Parfait as the colour theme in this card.

For the second card we will be making we will use the new "Merry and Type" stamp set and the new Scallop Dot Ribbon in Chocolate Chip.  I have two different colour combinations on offer and you can choose on the day which one you would prefer to make.  The colour come for the new 2011-2013 Incolour range and are Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party.

The afternoon will cost $10.00 which will include the two projects and a catalogue.  If you already own a catalogue then the afternoon is free.

If you would like to come along then please send me an email or give me a call to book your place.

It's that time of year again and the new 2011-2012 catalogue is due to be released next month ready for the
1 September launch date.

I will be having a Catalogue Launch on Saturday 10 September from 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm where you can come along, have a look through the new catalogue and make two projects using products that will be newly available from 1 September.

I have included some examples of cards I have made using some of the products that will be offered in the 2011-2012 catalogue.

Cost for the afternoon is $10.00 which will include afternoon tea, project materials and a copy of the new catalogue to take home with you (normally $10.00 on its own).

Please contact me if you are interested in joining me for this Launch.

August Stamp Club

The August Stamp Club workshop will be held on Saturday 6 August from 2pm - 5pm.

This time we will be covering a journal that can either be used to keep track of "Important Stamping Business" or might be used as a gift for someone.  The design is a combination of an idea on the front cover of the current catalogue and a design my sister made with her Stamp Club girls.

We will also be making our own version of a card I made at this year's Stampin' Up Convention.  It will give the girls in the Stamp Club group a sneak peak at a new stamp set called "Creative Elements" that will be available in the catalogue due to be released in September.

Although this class is limited to my current ongoing Stamp Club girls if you are interested in either learning how to make a journal or joining a stamp club please contact me.

Convention - Make & Takes

One of the sessions at the Stampin' Up Convention gave us time to play with some new stamp sets we were given as part of our Convention pack.  The new stamp sets are called "Creative Elements" and "It's Your Day" and will be available in the new catalogue due out later this year.

The first card is a simple elongated card that uses the "Small Open-End Envelopes", an item I have decided I must have.  The butterfly on the card has been stamped using 3 different markers, a technique I hadn't tried before but one I will be using regularly from now on.

The second card uses a combination of cardstock that has been "distressed", a new style of ribbon that will become available with the new catalogue and has a touch of Shimmer Paint brushed over the stamped image.

The third item is a small scrapbooking page using various stamps from the "Creative Elements" set and shows a photo of my sister, Denise and my niece, Olivia all dressed up to go off to a wedding last month.

It was great having some time to play with our new stamps and sit and learn some different techniques at the same time.
