Convention Swaps

In a couple of weeks my sister Denise and I are off to Melbourne to the annual Stampin' Up convention.  We will participate in various workshops and get a sneak preview of new Stampin' Up products due out later this year.

As part of Convention everyone takes along a bundle of cards to swap with other Stampin' Up demonstrators.  I have my 50 "swaps" ready to go and I thought I would share them with those who read my blog first so here they are.

The first uses the Fine Flourish stamp and cardstock in Marina Mist and Chocolate Chip.  The second card uses the Birthday Bakery hostess stamp set, hostess Designer Series paper (Peach Parfait) and is in Cajun Craze and Certainly Celery cardstock.

When I return from Melbourne I will have 50 different cards with lots of new ideas to share with you all.

Stamp Club - Saturday 2 April

Our next Stamp Club for my regular Stamp Club girls will be held on Saturday 2 April 2.00pm - 5.00pm.  At this gathering we will be making a variety of cards using Wheels both big and small.  We will be making the 4 cards shown here.  Cost for this gathering will be $10.00.

If anyone else is interested in doing a workshop based on Wheels and isn't a member of my Stamp Club, I am happy to arrange to run this class again on a day that suits.  Please contact me to discuss options for time and date and we will take it from there.

Never-Ending Wedding Card

I am going to a wedding in January and decided to make a Never-Ending Card for this occassion.  I made it in blues and silver and when the invite arrived it almost matched the card I had already made.  That was lucky.  The first photo shows the front of the card.
You then open the card to the sides and the second page is displayed.

Then you fold the card towards the top and bottom and get the third page display.
For the third step you fold the sides from the centre of the card to the outside and you get to the fourth page.

Finally you fold out the top and bottom of the card and you get back to the start.  You can continue to fold this card in a never-ending cycle.
