Need for Speed - what a great stamp set

Just thought I would share with you a set of cards I made yesterday. They use the stamp set Need For Speed. I CASed these cards from a fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Sherri Freese although I had to adapt my cards as I didn't have all the stamp set she had used.

I initially thought this was a great new stamp set for blokes but having made the red card with the sports car I realise it is not just limited to the men in our world. Memories of a little red car I once owned came to mind.

All SU products used:
Card stock: Tempting Turquoise, Bravo Burgundy, Not Quite Navy, Real Red,Whisper White, Basic Black.
Stamp sets: Need for Speed, Happiest Birthday Wishes, Speckled Wheel (retired)
Inks: Stason Black, Crumb Cake

WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES

I run all kinds of classes and do traditional workshops or "Parties". A Workshop is free. A hostess (that could be you) holds the event, sends out invitations and provides simple refreshments. I demonstrate 2 projects (usually a card and a 3D item) and everyone gets to make them. Orders are placed, and the hostess can order Hostess benefits - free Hostess-only stamp sets or merchandise from the catalogue!

A Stamp-a-Stack is exactly as it sounds - the group get to make a stack of cards in a short amount of time. They can be held in my home or yours, cost is $20 (cash) for 8 cards.

A Technique Class is where you can learn more complex stamping techniques. You make a technique sample, 1 or 2 cards with envelopes (depending on the complexity) and take home technique notes for $20.00 (cash).

Stamp Club - 6 people are needed to make a stamp club. Stamp Club meets every 2nd month. You make a project each meeting. $50 is required to be spent by each club member on Stampin' Up products every meeting. Each person gets a turn at receiving the hostess benefits. We meet at my house, I supply tea/coffee and the Hostess for each gathering provides light refreshments. Contact me if you are interested in being in a Stamp Club.
