Desk Organiser

My apologies for the lack of new material on this blog over the past couple of months. Life became quite hectic in November when my Dad as diagnosed with cancer. He is now undergoing treatment and although not "fixed" he is much better.

I now have some time to post a range of projects which I have completed over the past 3 months for you to have a look at. The first is a Desk Organiser which is a Kaiser Craft product.

My sister and I spent some time putting these together using the Designer Series Paper, Paisley Petals. All the paper is from the same set but combined to make 2 very different colour schemes.

This was another "off the page" project which I learnt about while I was down in Bright in October. I am looking forward to trying some more.

WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES

I run all kinds of classes and do traditional workshops or "Parties". A Workshop is free. A hostess (that could be you) holds the event, sends out invitations and provides simple refreshments. I demonstrate 2 projects (usually a card and a 3D item) and everyone gets to make them. Orders are placed, and the hostess can order Hostess benefits - free Hostess-only stamp sets or merchandise from the catalogue!

A Stamp-a-Stack is exactly as it sounds - the group get to make a stack of cards in a short amount of time. They can be held in my home or yours, cost is $20 (cash) for 8 cards.

A Technique Class is where you can learn more complex stamping techniques. You make a technique sample, 1 or 2 cards with envelopes (depending on the complexity) and take home technique notes for $20.00 (cash).

Stamp Club - 6 people are needed to make a stamp club. Stamp Club meets every 2nd month. You make a project each meeting. $50 is required to be spent by each club member on Stampin' Up products every meeting. Each person gets a turn at receiving the hostess benefits. We meet at my house, I supply tea/coffee and the Hostess for each gathering provides light refreshments. Contact me if you are interested in being in a Stamp Club.
